Lisa Welsh PA-C, MBA, is a practicing Physician Assistant at Miami Cancer Institute. She has been practicing since 2010 and has been in hematology & oncology with Baptist Health & Miami Cancer Institute for the past 7 years. Her primary role is managing hospitalized patients.

She attended PA school at Miami Dade College and graduated in 2010, in 2018 she received her MBA from Grand Canyon University. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Medical Sciences at AT Stills University.

She has a passion for education, and has given many community talks including

“What is Cancer?”, “Managing Difficult Conversations”, and “Skin and Water Protection”. Mrs. Welsh has also spoken at national conferences on “Anticoagulants in Cancer Patients” and is involved in several research projects within Miami Cancer Institute and South Miami Hospital. She serves as a PA Liaison to the Florida Association of Clinical Oncology and is actively involved in planning conferences. She attended Leadership Miami, class 38. Her groups project focused on educating teenagers about “Adulting Skills”. She truly believes education is the key to improving any situation.
